Bui Brothers

The Bui Brothers are photographers and cinematographers specializing in online media and promotional photography.

VIDEO

Vu and Lan both started personal videoblogs in January, 2005. In 2006 they started web show Noodle Scar with host Bonny Pierzina and broadcast 205 episodes through 2007.

They went on to produce the daily video content for The [b] School Blog, a daily educational videoblog for photographers with [b]ecker. They then teamed up with Dane Sanders to create Ask Dane, a weekly inspirational video podcast for photographers.

They adopted DSLR video shooting as soon as it came out (with the Nikon D90) and, with Smashface Productions, shot the first US television commercial on the Canon 5D mark II.

They teach DSLR video shooting and online media creation to professionals in numerous industries; and have been hired for DSLR production consulting.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The brothers shoot conceptual and promotional photography mostly for web personalities and professionals. Their photo shoots of Felicia Day, Veronica Belmont and iJustine are their most popular to date.

They provided all the photography for The Ninja Handbook and are the official photographers of The International Academy of Web Television for the Streamys.

They teach lighting and workflow workshops to professional photographers.

EVENT SPEAKING and WORKSHOPS

The brothers organized (with Bonny Pierzina and Irina Slutsky) The Winnies web awards show held in Los Angeles in 2007.
