Charlie Borland
Charlie Borland has been a commercial and stock photographer for over 30 years. Based in Oregon, he shoots both locally and travels extensively for a wide range of clients, some of which include: Xerox, NW Airlines, Fujitsu, Tektronix, Nike, Blue Cross, Nationsbank, Precision Castpart’s Corp., Mentor Graphics, Texas Instruments, Pacificorp, Cellular One, Sequent Computer, Early Winters, Cascade Bancorp, and AGC. He has won numerous awards for his photography and each has received recognition for over 7 annual reports he has photographed.
Charlie has also been actively involved in stock photography throughout his career operating a stock photo agency for 8 years before merging with Definitive/FPG and later Getty Images. He is currently Director of Photography at www.fogstock.com, an online agency he co-founded. His imagery has been used thousands of times worldwide, including: National Geographic Adventure and Traveler, Outside, Women’s Sport and Fitness, Newsweek, TV Guide, CIO, Sports Illustrated for Women, Time, Backpacker, Sunset, American Photo, Outdoor Photographer, Eco Traveler, Southern Bell, to name a few.
Charlie travels extensively shooting on assignment as well as for stock.
