Episode 0005: Interview with Rick Sammon, Canon Explorer of Light and World Traveler

LensFlare 35 is a weekly show brought to you by Dave Warner. In this week’s episode, Dave interviews Canon Explorer of Light Photographer and World Traveler Rick Sammon. Rick has published 34 books, including his latest Digital Photography Secrets. He has photographed in almost 100 countries around the world and gives more than two dozen photography workshops each year. Rick hosts five shows on Kelby Training, writes for PCPhoto, has been nominated for the Photoshop Hall of Fame, is a member of the Explorers Club AND is a Canon Explorer of Light.

In this episode, Rick talks a little bit about his background and how he got started in photography, how he has crafted a business out of it, and how he is marketing himself. He also talks about how the relationship with Kelby Training has helped him, his new Podcast with Scott Bourne called PhotoFocus, and what makes him get up every morning.
