I've known Skynear since the early 70's. Used to hang out in his garage/studio in Salt Lake City and talk music with him (I was a working drummer/percussionist at the time). Have a number of his works hanging in my home now, including an amazing lithograph that he did over a period of weeks, each week etching a new color in the printing stone. Funny that all these years later, we are both Canon shooters. He taught me to see things with my mind's eye, and I think that he learned something from me about hearing things that weren't obviously there. Thanks for the interview.
