Grant Oakes
Grant began his career in photography back in 1977 after documenting the weddings of a couple friends. His contentment with being a weekend warrior changed in 1992 when his wife, Linda, encouraged him to pursue it more seriously. He went to a 1 day seminar put on by a local camera store and after seeing the creative side to wedding photography he got his passion switch turned on. Since then he has had the privilege of not only photographing hundreds of weddings including socialites and sports stars but several of his weddings have been featured in regional and international bridal publications. In addition to this, profiles about his business have graced the pages of photography magazines and he has spoken at numerous photography conventions, he has conducted workshops and seminars across the U.S. and abroad and he has even started a website template and hosting solution for photographers, including a free marketing tips newsletter.
