Episode 0004: Interview with Sandra Pearce, Canon Photographer and Digital Artist

by Dave Warner on June 16, 2009

LensFlare 35 is a weekly show brought to you by Dave Warner. In this week’s episode, Dave interviews Canon Portrait Photographer and Digital Artist Sandra Pearce. Sandra has been a professional photographer for fifteen years. Her goal is to capture people in a relaxed atmosphere.  She has a full portrait studio and outside locations designed just for that.  She has a gazebo, arbor, ponds with goldfish to feed, huge oak trees, a barn, fences, squirrels, birds and beautiful flowers.  Areas have been designed to make children, family and senior portraits a unique experience. There is a grassy pasture that enables her to photograph horses and other pets. Sandra offers paintings of photographs in oil, watercolor and other mediums.

In this interview, Sandra talks about her portrait techniques and her unique approach to the creation of digital portraits or painted portraits, using only Photoshop and NIK Filters.

Good information. I love Sandra’s southern accent. Her paintings are beautiful. I would like to learn how to do this.
